Fleas & Ticks
Trying to decide upon the best flea and tick treatment for cats can be difficult. The right product for your pet depends on your location (prevalence of fleas and ticks), the option of using combination products for heartworm and intestinal worms, and the resistance of fleas and ticks to certain chemicals which may render some products ineffective. The monthly dosage products (such as spot-ons and chewable tablets) are by far the most effective and easiest to use in most instances. Bear in mind that the sprays (Frontline and Frontera) are the only products registered for tick prevention in cats. Advantix can kill cats, and should never be used on cats for tick prevention. Feel free to contact us should you need any guidance on what product is best for your cat.
