My cat lost his appetite, and being a long haired cat, and also I had missed brushing him for a few days, my first thought was he has another furball. I had almost run out of the Laxapet Gel and I was really happy to find the price was great here, but also it was delivered very quickly. I dosed my cat, and he was fine the next day, his appetite had returned. I'm glad it was just a furball that upset him.
I give it to him when I see his appetite changes as that's not normal, he loves his food. When I first had to use it, I did use it for 3 days until I saw he was eating and toileting fine, and then I don't give it to him unless I suspect he has a furball. If I don't give him a good brush every day in summer, I find he needs it about once every 10 days. He quite likes it, and licks it off the spoon, but sometimes he doesn't want it, and I push it through the side of his mouth onto his tongue and give him a favourite treat afterwards as a reward, like a bit of chicken, for letting me give it to him against his will.
